Plan Now to Join Your Colleagues at the 2018 Fall Advocacy Event and Board Meeting!
The 2018 Fall Advocacy Event and Board Meeting will be held September 11-12, 2018 in Washington, DC. This event is focused on meeting with key congressional offices as we work to advance our legislative priorities in year-end legislation. General members are invited and encouraged to attend the Board meeting as non-voting members provided they commit to participating in AHTCC-scheduled congressional meetings.
The Board meeting will provide a detailed legislative and advocacy update and cover issues of importance to the AHTCC and its membership. Newcomers to advocacy are encouraged to attend - we will provide detailed prep materials, and each congressional meeting will include veteran advocates for the Housing Credit who are familiar with the AHTCC's legislative priorities.
We will be scheduling targeted meetings for individuals confirmed to participate. If there are specific congressional offices you want to meet with let AHTCC Executive Director Emily Cadik (202-434-8287) know and we will do our best to accommodate any requests. We also appreciate you letting us know the states in which your organization is most active. If you have any restrictions on the times you are available to participate in congressional meetings please let us know so that we do not schedule you at times you are not available.
