One important way you can advocate for the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit) is by asking your members of Congress to cosponsor the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act of 2019 (AHCIA). Reintroduced on June 4, 2019, this legislation would expand affordable housing production and preservation by at least 550,000 additional homes over 10 years and strengthen the Housing Credit.

We’ve included versions for members of Congress who cosponsored the AHCIA in the previous Congress and those who did not.
