John Arthur Flats (“JAF”) is a newly constructed affordable community for LGBTQ Seniors in Cincinnati, Ohio with 57 total affordable homes. 10 apartments are set aside at 30 percent AMI, 3 at 50 percent AMI, and 45 at 60 percent AMI.

Community amenities include a resident lounge, on-site laundry, fitness center, outdoor terrace, picnic area, pet playground, and on-site management and services across its 15,144 square feet of living space and 1.05 acre grounds. Nestled in an existing campus of programming, services, and amenities specifically designed for the elderly, the supportive services plan includes 14 hours of supportive services per week provided by the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio and Pennrose Management Company.

Financing for this property was facilitated by CREA, LLC and developed by Pennrose, LLC and NEST (Northsiders Engaged in Sustainable Transformation). John Arthur Flats was developed using the 9 percent Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit).
