GORDON H. MANSFIELD VETERANS COMMUNITY

Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans Community in Tinton Falls, NJ won a 2023 Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Excellence Award in the Small Metropolitan Area category.

Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans Community provides 70 stable, affordable and supportive homes serving U.S. military veterans in the Tinton Falls community. Named in honor of Gordon H. Mansfield, former U.S. Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs and Purple Heart awardee, the community features a variety of common areas, outdoor spaces, and supportive resources for residents. Additionally, the property has a resident advisor, community coordinator, and social services manager on-site to provide comprehensive support to residents.

The property was co-developed by WinnCompanies and Soldier On, Inc., financed through direct investment from Bank of America, and made possible with local support from the New Jersey Housing Mortgage Finance Agency, Monmouth County, New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Governor Phil Murphy, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
