Valley Palms Apartments represents the rehabilitation and re-syndication of an affordable housing community comprised of 234 two bedroom/one bath apartments, 96 two bedroom/two bath apartment, and 24 one-bedroom apartments. These affordable homes are available to residents earning up to 50 percent and 60 percent of area median income and span 28 two-story garden style buildings and townhomes.

There are also six non-residential buildings on site, including a leasing office, two laundry facilities, a maintenance building, a social services building and a community building available to all residents, all of which were upgraded during the course of rehabilitation. The rehabilitation initiative also included renovating a soccer field, three outdoor swimming pools and a basketball court for the residents. The property is on 17.5 acres and is well-located within a residential neighborhood with excellent access to public transportation, schools, hospitals and convenience stores.

This property was financed using the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit). Financing for Valley Palms Apartments was facilitated by R4 Capital. The developer is KDF Communities.
