Angela Bruno brings twenty-five years of multifamily housing and financial expertise. Since March 2022, Bruno has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Mercy Housing. As the CFO, Bruno is responsible for Financial Services, Information Technology, People and Culture, and National Real Estate Strategy and Impact.
Prior to Mercy Housing, Bruno served as the Chief Financial Officer at National Housing Trust, an affordable housing nonprofit located in Washington D.C. There, she was a strategic partner to the real estate, lending, policy, and energy solutions business lines. She was responsible for NHT’s financial oversight, asset management, and human resources.
Bruno also has experience working at Fannie Mae, where she was a senior director on the Multifamily CFO team. During her tenure, she provided financial advice and oversight to Fannie Mae’s Multifamily Business.
In addition to her work in the housing industry, Bruno spent over five years in management consulting to government and nonprofit clients at Booz Allen Hamilton and Plante Moran. Her focus was on executive and information technology strategy, organizational design, change management, business process re-engineering, and financial analysis.
Bruno holds a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Oakland University.
