Dana Boole is President & CEO of CAHEC and has been with the organization since 2001. CAHEC (www.cahec.com) is a leading community investment company focusing on syndication (equity and debt), preservation, general partnerships, property management, and charitable initiatives through the mid-Atlantic and South. Dana’s duties include oversight of CAHEC’s overall vision, legislative outreach, financial condition, and leadership necessary to maintain its strategic competitive advantage.
Dana received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Vermont (Burlington, VT) and his MBA in finance and strategy from the F. W. Olin School of Business at Babson College (Wellesley, MA).
Dana currently serves as a (i) Trustee, Foundation of Hope (Raleigh, NC), which addresses mental health by investing in groundbreaking scientific research and initiatives, and (ii) Director, National Housing & Rehabilitation Association (Washington, DC) which is a national trade association of affordable housing development and finance professionals.
In recent years, Dana has served as (i) Chair, Affordable Housing Advisory Council, Federal Home Loan Bank Atlanta (GA), and (ii) Class B Director, Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond (VA).
