Maria Bustria-Glickman is the Director of Business Development for Tax Credit Syndications at U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation. She manages a team responsible for raising investor interest and securing equity commitments for investment in federal affordable housing, new markets, and renewable energy tax credit funds.
Prior to her role in syndications, Maria led the bank’s new markets tax credit origination activities in the western half of the country, sourcing over $4.4 billion in closed qualified equity investments for mixed-use, manufacturing, healthcare, social service, and community facility projects.
Maria has more than 20 years of combined structured finance, strategic management, and community development experience. Earlier in her career, she worked at J.P. Morgan & Co., PNC MultiFamily Capital, and for a non-profit community development intermediary.
Her professional interests are rooted in experiences that combine economic benefit with social impact. She has served on the boards of Endeavor College Prep Charter School and Abode Communities; and she’s currently a member of the Advisory Board of Novogradac’s Journal of Tax Credits and of the Western Region Advisory Committee of the Low Income Investment Fund.
Maria holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in applied economics and advanced policy analysis from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and accounting from Boston College.
