Bensalem Veterans Residences, developed by Pennrose, LLC, provides high-quality, affordable housing for veterans and seniors 62 years and older. Located near the intersection of Mechanicsville Road and Street Road in Bensalem, PA, the new development is a 3-story building with 40 one-bedroom homes. The 9 Percent Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit) was used to finance Bensalem Veterans Residences. 

Resident amenities include a community room with outdoor patio, laundry rooms on each floor, a fully equipped fitness room, a third-floor game room/library, and a community service office with a conference space where local veteran organizations can meet. The location of Bensalem Veterans Residences makes nearby amenities highly accessible for senior residents, as the property is within walking distance from grocery stores, banks, and other amenities on Street Road, one of the primary commercial corridors in Bensalem. To connect residents to these amenities, the development team installed a sidewalk that connects the property to Street Road. This sidewalk also provides easy access to public transportation, specifically the 130 and 50 SEPTA bus lines. 

Pennrose Management Company (PMC) is managing the property and providing a full array of supportive services for residents. PMC has also partnered with the Bucks County Department of Veteran Affairs, the Bucks County Vet Center, and Salute 2 Service to provide services specifically for veterans at the property.
