Camden Heights is the new construction of a 252-home Housing Credit rental community in Rapid City, SD which will be restricted to residents earning up to 60 percent of area median income. The development will feature a three-story, elevator-served building for residents age 55 and older, offering 35 one-bedroom and 16 two-bedroom homes. In addition, the community will include 201 family apartments spread across five three-story walk-up buildings, with a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes.

In-home amenities will include a refrigerator, stove/range, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, washer/dryer, walk-in closet, mini blinds and a balcony or patio. Community amenities will include a management office, community room, community kitchen, business center and fitness facility located in one of the residential buildings, playground, sports courts, picnic area, walking trail, and off-street parking.

This property was financed in part with the 4 percent Low-Income Housing Tax Credit facilitated by R4 Capital LLC. Construction commenced in December 2024 and will be completed within 23 months.
