Gateway Pointe Phase II is the new construction of 90 homes in four three-story garden style buildings located in Warner Robins, Georgia serving residents earning 5 to 60 percent of the area median income. The property features a business center/computer lab with free wireless internet, clubhouse/community room, health/wellness center, gathering spaces, an exercise facility, off-street parking, fenced community garden, a gazebo, and on-site management.
Five of the market rate homes are leased to veterans or active military through an agreement with the Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource Center (“VECTR”) for a period of 5- years at no cost to the tenants. Located adjacent to the property, VECTR is a collaboration between the University System of Georgia and the Technical College System of Georgia intended to serve veterans, their families, and member of the community at large (non-veterans). VECTR’s programs are designed to assist with transitions from military services into colleges, technical education, or the civilian workforce.
The 9% Housing Credit was used to finance the property, with syndication by Hunt Capital Partners. It was developed by Pennrose, LLC.
