Legacy Square is an innovative affordable housing development serving 92 households earning less than 60 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI). It includes 33 apartments reserved for previously unhoused residents and 59 apartments designated for families who lived and worked in Santa Ana.

Amenities at Legacy Square feature all-electric appliances, a recreation area, a community room, a children’s play area, a computer lab, barbecue facilities, gardens, and flexible services for both residents and the surrounding neighborhood.

Financing for this property was provided by Bank of America, and it was developed by National CORE and Mercy House, utilizing the 4 percent Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit).
