MADELINE MANOR

Madeline Manor is an 80-home new construction affordable housing community for families. The 80 homes are located in 10 buildings with a separate community building and are 100 percent income restricted. 9 percent of the homes at 30 percent AMI and 91 percent of the homes at 60 percent AMI.

Lawrenceburg, Kentucky is located 15 miles south of Frankfort, the capital city of Kentucky. By adding housing in this area, residents are able to find quality affordable housing that is close to areas with job opportunities while still located in a desirable, rural area.

Madeline Manor is the first phase of what will be a $30 million investment to provide affordable housing in the rural community of Lawrenceburg. The Kentucky Housing Corporation saw the success of Madeline Manor and empowered a second phase of the project, awarding an additional 80 apartments for low-income seniors. Financing for this property was facilitated by Boston Financial and developed by Wabuck Development and the Housing Assistance and Development Services (HANDS). Madeline Manor was developed using the 9 percent Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit).
