Families with incomes at 30 percent, 50 percent, 55 percent and 60 percent of area median income are eligible for occupancy in 40 of the homes.

The first floor of the community building includes a leasing office, laundry facility, community room with kitchen, computer room and exercise facility. Outdoor amenities include a playground, swimming pool, coveredBBQ area with picnic tables and perimeter fencing.There are93 parking spaces,48 of which are under covered carports. Additionally, supportive social services are available to residents free of charge and include adult education classes such as computer classes, financial literacy, job seeking skills and resume building. In addition, health and wellness programs such as crisis intervention, practical counseling and emotional support, government and insurance entitlements and physical and mental health assessments are available.

This property was financed using the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit). Financing for Malan Street Apartments was facilitated by R4 Capital. Pacific West Communities, a division of The Pacific Companies (“TPC”) based in Eagle, ID but predominantly developing in California, is the developer, and a special purpose entity owned by TPC is the administrative general partner.
