North End is a 28-acre mixed-use development situated north of the Arts and Design district and adjacent to the Monon Trail in Carmel, Indiana. The North End Apartments is a newly constructed project featuring 168 apartments, including 40 one-bedroom homes specifically designated for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This property offers a range of services to residents, such as individualized planning, counseling and support, program referrals, independent living skills training, medical services, and employment assistance.

North End has an on-site farm and greenhouse, a farm-to-table restaurant housed in a renovated historic home that sources fresh produce from the farm, and a community garden. Additionally, an internal path network connects to the Monon Trail, enhancing walkability to nearby shops, amenities, and employment opportunities. The development also features multiple community gathering spaces that foster connections among residents.

Financing for this property was facilitated by Merchants Capital and developed by Old Town Companies. North End Apartments was developed using the 9 percent Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit).
