PASCUA YAQUI HOMES #9
Tucson, Arizona
Pascua Yaqui Homes #9 (the “Project”) is the new development of 50 affordable apartments on the Pascua Yaqui Reservation in Tucson, Arizona. The Project houses 14 one-bedroom, 26 two-bedroom, and 10 three-bedroom apartments. The Project serves low-income residents, reserving 15 apartments for households with incomes up to 30 percent of the area median income (AMI). Additionally, 5 apartments are targeted for households with incomes between 30 and 50 percent AMI, and 30 apartments are reserved for households with incomes between 50 and 60 percent AMI. To better serve vulnerable communities, the Project will save 15 supportive housing apartments reserved for persons with disabilities, persons experiencing homelessness, victims of domestic violence, and youth exiting foster care. All apartments will benefit from a project-based rental assistance contract (sourced from Tribal resources).
This property was developed by the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Red Stone Equity Partners utilizing the 9 percent Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit).
