River Pauahi, developed by AHE group, is a 49-unit multifamily rental conveniently located in Chinatown, with advantageous access to employment centers, services, entertainment, and transportation. The units are available to residents earning 60% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI). River Pauahi will remain affordable for 61 years. In addition, all residents of River Pauahi receive additional rental support through a Section 8 contract that ensures tenants pay no more than 30% of their available income as rent that expires in January of 2037.

River Pauahi is a single, 4-story, elevator serviced building with 32,868 gross square feet on a 6.3-acre lot. A total of $3 million was spent on the building’s renovations, including new kitchens, windows, paint, flooring, and energy-efficient appliances. Exterior improvements include new exterior paint, landscaping, and electrical installations such as new security cameras. The site also includes amenities such as a laundry room and outdoor recreation space.
