Hale Makana O’ Maili is the new construction of an affordable housing development consisting of six two-story walk-up residential buildings, situated on a 1.95-acre site in Wai’anae, HI, on the island of Oahu.  There are 52 homes total. 10 percent of the apartments are restricted at 30 percent of AMI. 19 percent of the apartments are restricted at 50 percent of AMI. 70 percent of the apartments are restricted at 60 percent of AMI. The syndication for the property was provided by Hunt Capital Partners, LLC. Laulima Development, LLC developed Hale Makana O’ Maili. 9% Housing Credit was used to finance the property.

The property provides residents with a variety of useful spaces, including a fully equipped children’s play area, a picnic area with overhead trellis, covered bicycle parking, two multi-purpose rooms, a computer center, and a break room/kitchen.
