2022 Charles L. Edson Tax Credit
Excellence Award Winners

The winners of the 28th annual Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Excellence Awards (Edson Awards) represent Housing Credit developments across 7 states that strengthen communities, improve resident opportunities and support economies across the country, with locations in rural areas such as Tieton, Washington, and Weitchpec, California, and in urban communities including New York City and Orlando.

The 2022 Edson Awards were presented at the AHTCC’s Fall Meeting and Edson Awards ceremony in Washington, DC on September 20, 2022. Members of Congress celebrated the winners by attending the event in-person, providing congratulatory videos, quotes, and letters, and meeting with award winners on Capitol Hill.

Charles L. Edson

Charles L. Edson is an affordable housing luminary who was Transition Director for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under President Carter and served in the HUD Office of the General Counsel. He was Co-Editor-in-Chief of Housing and Development Reporter for nearly 40 years, a founding partner of law firm Lane and Edson and partner at Nixon Peabody LLP.
