On March 1, 2016 ATHCC submitted comments to the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Human Resources related to their hearing entitled Getting Incentives Rights: Connecting Low-Income Individuals With Jobs.
AHTCC’s comments focus on the Housing Credit’s unique ability to provide affordable rental housing for low-income individuals in communities with job opportunities. Additionally, as the statement indicates, the Housing Credit is a proven job creator generating thousands of jobs in low-income communities each year.
