VICTORY APARTMENTS II OMAHA
Victory Apartments I – Omaha (Victory I), the rehabilitation of a former hospital into 90 affordable homes, opened in 2013. With all homes leased virtually immediately, it was clear that there was still great need for affordable veterans housing in Omaha.
In 2020, Burlington Capital opened Victory Apartments II – Omaha. The development involved the rehabilitation of a Grace University building adjacent to Victory I, resulting in 60 permanent supportive housing units. All homes utilize HUD-VASH and serve veterans at or below 50 percent of area median income. Four homes are also handicap accessible.
Services available to residents include job training, life skills, and addiction counseling. Amenities include complimentary laundry center, community gathering space, gymnasium, fitness center, controlled building access, restored ground and landscaping.

Remarks from U.S. Congressman Don Bacon (R-NE-2)
In a video, Congressman Don Bacon (R-NE-2) shared, “I support the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act… it gives us a chance to make a difference throughout our whole country. Today we estimate that there are 37,000 homeless veterans, and we can make great progress here by getting this Act passed and put into law. It will help folks like Burlington Capital continue the good work that they’re doing… We want to serve our veterans, and we don’t want any veteran on the street.”
