The development will also have a solar photovoltaic system to offset energy demand and will utilize LED lighting. The landscaping is designed to reduce water consumption.

Decatur Commons Senior has a wellness room where medical treatment or examinations can be provided. In addition, Decatur Commons Senior will have a fully serviced food pantry that will provide fresh foods and staples for residents.

Decatur Commons is located on Regional Transportation Commission’s bus route 103.
