FREEDOM VILLAGE AT WEST WINDSOR

Freedom Village at West Windsor, developed by Project Freedom, Inc., features six two-story residential buildings with a total of 72 homes and a community center. The site sits on ten acres located off Bear Brook Road in West Windsor Township, New Jersey. Freedom Village at West Windsor is a 100 percent barrier free community, with all 72 apartments designed to be wheelchair-accessible, and showcases the hallmark of Project Freedom’s mission. The development helps fill the gap of the severe shortage of accessible affordable housing in New Jersey with 18 residences set aside for developmentally disabled and mental health consumers. The remaining 54 units are available to non-disabled people and their families. A full time Social Services Coordinator ensures tenants are receiving the support needed for successful independent living.
