2023 Charles L. Edson Tax Credit
Excellence Award Winners

2023 Edson Award recipients were recognized at an awards ceremony on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in Washington, DC, and nine members of Congress attended the event to present the awards.

Edson Award winners in 2023 include 10 affordable housing developments across seven states, with locations in rural areas such as Darlington, Wisconsin and Dexter, Michigan, and in metropolitan areas including New York, Boston and Detroit.

Charles L. Edson

Charles L. Edson is an affordable housing luminary who was Transition Director for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under President Carter and served in the HUD Office of the General Counsel. He was Co-Editor-in-Chief of Housing and Development Reporter for nearly 40 years, a founding partner of law firm Lane and Edson and partner at Nixon Peabody LLP.
