Congratulations to the 2026 Recognition of Housing Tax Credit Excellence Honorees
Today the AHTCC congratulates the ten honorees who received our 2026 Recognition of Housing Tax Credit Excellence in honor of Charles L. Edson. These outstanding Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit) developments across nine states strengthen communities, improve resident opportunities and support economies across the country.
The 2026 Recognition of Housing Tax Credit Excellence will be presented at the AHTCC’s 2026 Fall Meeting today in Washington, D.C. During the event, many awardees will receive recognition from members of their congressional delegation.
Today the AHTCC will also recognize Senate Finance Committee Chairman Mike Crapo (R-ID), House Financial Services Subcommittee on Housing & Insurance Chairman Mike Flood (R-NE-1) and Representative Joyce Beatty (D-OH-3) with Affordable Housing Champion Awards for their leadership on affordable housing legislation that will have a meaningful and lasting impact.
The AHTCC will also be honoring Bryan Keller with the David L. Reznick Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously in recognition of his decades of leadership as a partner at RubinBrown and on the AHTCC’s Board of Directors.

“As the affordability crisis grows, the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit has become increasingly essential to providing families with safe, stable housing near jobs, education, health care and other community resources,” said AHTCC CEO Emily Cadik. “Each winner of the 2026 Recognition of Housing Tax Credit Excellence has made a lasting impact in the communities they serve and for the families who now have an affordable place to call home.”
“The properties recognized today represent the most innovative approaches to affordable housing and the most effective use of the Housing Credit,” said Dudley Benoit, President of the AHTCC Board of Directors and Senior Managing Director of Walker & Dunlop. “Congratulations to the honorees for the work they are doing to help make housing more accessible and affordable where and when it is needed most.”
